This app replaces the 11-year old edition of the printed copy of our local Phone Book. Sad to see it go! However, Nearby Contact offers the same 1,000 business listing and so much more...
We've added mobile phone numbers and URL's for Facebook and websites, so it's easy to see everything about a contact at Nearby Contact. In addition, for each listing we've added capabilities for Google Maps, photos, a Youtube video, music and podcasts, and some restaurant menus (a work in progress).
Our Google Calendar section to see the events of the day, week, month, and year. And, a separate calendar to show you ongoing coupon opportunities.
To help you get to know the area you'll also find a useful "magazine" with general area
info which includes: photos, videos, maps, links to useful local sites and an aggregated list of useful sites - Tamarindo News, The Howler Magazine, Costa Rica News, etc.
An absolute necessity for many visitors, we include surf and tide reports from Magic Seaweed.
